Lilly and her husband, Barry, moved to Whidbey Island in late 2012 after visiting Barry’s mother here for over 20 years  and knew it was where they wanted to be forever.

Lilly grew up in the Boutique her mother managed for 25 years in the French Quarter in New Orleans , LA where she was born and raised. She loved getting to dress the mannequins in the windows every weekend, and getting to help customers was a highlight of her day!

Lilly and Barry opened Fair Trade Outfitters in 2015 after attending the Whidbey Institutes “Thriving Communities” weekend and realizing their love for sustainable and FairTrade Products would be a great fit for Langley. The shop will be celebrating their 9th year here in June.

Lilly believes being a merchant in Downtown Langley helps serve the Chamber Board with insights and ideas for bringing events in helping Langley thrive.

Lilly so loves being part of the community that she has played a character in Langley’s Mystery Weekend for the past 8 years and sees how beneficial this event is to the town.

Barry has also stepped in as Santa on his motorcycle for the Lighting of Langley.

She and Barry have lived within walking distance to their shop since 2018 and have loved every minute of it!
