Salish Wildlife Rescue is based at Friday Harbor on San Juan Island but has recently expanded their non-profit to Island County. Manager Chandra Stone said, “Our mission is to promote the well-being of wildlife and their habitats through rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife, public education and non-invasive research.”
