Each Saturday morning at 10 a.m. the market manager rings her bell, signaling the start of business on the grassy slope at Bayview Corner. Stalls overflow with produce, flowers, cheeses, honey, breads, pastries, hot foods and crafts of all kinds. As the flags flutter in the breeze, customers wander through the market, sipping, sampling and learning firsthand from the vendors about their locally grown produce and hand crafted items.
At 11a.m. musicians begin to play their own compositions, and the sounds of rock, ballads, jazz and marimba can be heard at various times through the season.
