Festival of Global Traditions – Percussion on the Rock
Whidbey’s Saratoga Orchestra invites you to the culminating performance of the Percussion on the Rock (POTR) workshop, bringing students and faculty together to showcase their work in a vibrant concert celebrating percussion traditions from around the world.
Highlights include music for the Gyil xylophone from Ghana and a rare opportunity to experience the monumental Embaire, a massive wooden log xylophone and one of only a handful found outside Uganda.
