Economic Development Council for Island County
The EDCIC is the Associate Development Organization (ADO) which serves as the local economic development partner for the Washington State Department of Commerce. The EDCIC is designated by Island County to coordinate business recruitment, retention, and expansion activities within the county. It supports research, planning, and implementation of regional and local economic development strategies. They promote Island County as a quality of life locale for business development and living wage jobs. EDCIC network of business resources includes direct business counseling and demographics, topical business information, direct marketing exposure, business counseling services, and business financing planning.
The Economic Development Council for Island County (EDCIC) is a 501(c)6 non-profit that focuses on promoting and assisting business growth. Services and resources are for new and existing businesses that employ local residents and that purchase local products and services.
