Celebrate WICA’s 30th Anniversary with a lively, homegrown evening of music
and storytelling featuring The Rural Characters and The Heggenes Valley Band.

A longtime local favorite, The Rural Characters began their journey in 1997 as singing cowboys on the WICA stage. Since then, they’ve become known for their sold-out shows, humorous take on Island life, and delightfully unfiltered performances. Blending music, storytelling, and a healthy dose of mischief, they return with familiar favorites and a few new surprises.

Joining them, The Heggenes Valley Band brings their signature energy and eclectic musical style. Known for playing what they love and making sure the audience has just as much fun, their performances are equal parts entertaining and infectious.

Together, these two beloved groups create a spirited celebration
of community, creativity, and 30 years of WICA.
