Whidbey Island Orchestra Christmas Concerts

“Sure On This Shining Night”

Whidbey Island Orchestra, your community orchestra led by principal conductor James Hinkley, invites you to join in a festive celebration of music and fun for this holiday season! The concert, titled “Sure on This Shining Night” will feature selections from “The Sound of Music”, “The Wizard of Oz,” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” as well as holiday favorites by Strauss, Mozart, Leroy Anderson, and John Lennon!

The concerts will be performed at two different times and venues:
Friday, December 12th @ 7 p.m., Island Church, Langley
Sunday, December 14th @ 3 p.m., Trinity Lutheran, Freeland

As a nonprofit organization supported by member dues and donations,
WIO invites donations from the audience at the event.
