FREE Film & Conversation: The Farewell

Join us for TWO free community showings of the award winning movie, The Farewell!

This hit comedy/drama explores family, culture, truth, and the different ways we face the end of life – all with humor and heart. (And yes… it’s based on an actual lie!)

After each screening, stay for a thoughtful guided discussion with Andrea Denke,
MSW, LICSW and Nathalie Gauteron, MSW, LICSW from WhidbeyHealth Hospice.
This will be a welcoming space to talk, reflect, and learn.

Free Event: Thelma Screening & Elder‑Fraud Q&A

Island Senior Resources and The Clyde Theater have paired up
to create an afternoon of FREE entertainment and conversation.

Enjoy the film ‘Thelma’, a comedy-drama about a 93-year-old woman who exposes a scammer and sets out to reclaim what was taken from her. After the film, join a community conversation with Jeremy Morris, Asst. Attorney General for Medicare Fraud Control of WA State, that will help you and your loved ones avoid the same harm.
