Join us on Halloween Night, October 31st @ 7 p.m. at the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts for a special screening of the beloved classic Practical Magic starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.

This enchanting film holds a special place in Whidbey’s heart, as parts of it were filmed right here in Coupeville. Released in 1998, Practical Magic tells the story of sisters Sally and Gillian Owens, who were born into a family of witches but have mostly avoided practicing magic. When Gillian’s boyfriend, Jimmy Angelov, dies unexpectedly, the sisters attempt a spell that unleashes dark forces threatening their family line.
