Robin Hood’s Prince John went on to become king, and Shakespeare dramatized his reign in a sharp and timely critique of unconstrained power and its abuses. This solo show delivers a single narrative through-line that honors the essence of the rarely produced play, but allows for a more focused and incisive piece of theatre.

Sound & Fury, An Improvised Shakespearience
ISF Beyond features its theatre neighbors for “Sound & Fury,” a fully improvised Shakespearean play presented by Whidbey Improv and OutCast Productions. The play runs at 1 p.m. Saturdays, Aug. 22, Aug. 29 and Sept. 5 at ISF in Langley.
The world of Shakespeare is brought to life here, blending Elizabethan flair with contemporary comedy. Expect sword fights, “thee’s and thou’s,” and glorious nonsense in this madcap tribute to The Bard. On the Island Shakespeare Festival stage this summer!
