DESCRIPTION:Summer Gardens Tours Start June 8\n\n\n\nSummer is a magical time to visit Meerkerk Gardens. If you’d like to explore the gardens during this beautiful time while also learning about plants and a little history about a unique property\, consider a guided tour. Volunteer docents will be leading 40-minute tours of Meerkerk Saturdays at 1 p.m.\nThese tours are free with your $10 paid admission to the Gardens. Explore the hidden corners of Meerkerk and discover something you never knew about rhododendrons. Meerkerk’s specialty nursery will also be open during this time. \nMeerkerk Gardens is 53-acre garden and woodland preserve located at 3531 Meerkerk Lane in Greenbank (take the Resort Road exit off Highway 525). The nonprofit Gardens are open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. every day of the year except during extreme weather events. \nAdult admission is $10. Children 12 and under are free. Dogs on leash are welcome.

The Island County WSU Master Gardener Education Series classes are open to the public and cover everything from dealing with pests to growing great vegetables. Meerkerk’s specialty nursery will also be open during this time. \nMeerkerk Gardens is 53-acre garden and woodland preserve located at 3531 Meerkerk Lane in Greenbank (take the Resort Road exit off Highway 525). The nonprofit Gardens are open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. every day of the year except during extreme weather events. \nAdult admission is $10. Children 12 and under are free. Dogs on leash are welcome.
