Beads do not count as a costume\, but you can grab some free at the door. \nBeer\, wine\, and non-alcoholic beverages will be for sale. The Taproom at Bayview Corner will have Mardi Gras specials available in their restaurant & Japonica will have gumbo options for sale in Bayview Hall! \nMardi Gras has a long history in the US\, with the first New Orleans Mardi Gras parade in 1837. Goosefoot has brought the party to Whidbey Island since 2014.
