SUVA – Coupeville Maritime Heritage Foundation

Whidbey Island’s “flagship” is 68′ Schooner SUVA. SUVA sails from the Coupeville wharf May through September with regular visits to Langley and other ports of call. SUVA was built in 1925 in Hong Kong, designed by Marine Architect Ted Geary. In 2015 SUVA returned to Whidbey Island, purchased by the Coupeville Maritime Heritage Foundation. This non profit is open to any all who want to take part in maintaining maritime history.
