DESCRIPTION:What: WANDER/WONDER: a sculptured dance happening \nWhere: Price Sculpture Forest\, 678 Parker Rd\, Coupeville \nWhen: Saturday August 23 from 1-3pm \nDescription: Come journey on lush forest trails to witness thought-provoking dance performed by professional Pacific Northwest dance artists alongside a beautiful outdoor collection of art. Price Sculpture Forest is a community sculpture exhibition park and natural habitat preserve where Art Enhances Nature and Nature Enhances Art. Choreographer Eva Stone is a producer\, curator\, and teaching artist based out of Seattle. All choreography is newly created specifically for each sculpture.  Suggested donation of $20 or pay-what-you-can (all welcome). Donations accepted at the event; no reservations required. You can arrive anytime between 1-2pm. Ten unique short dance performances will be on continuous rotation until 3pm throughout the park. Come and meet the artists immediately after the main event near the park entrance. \nWe are grateful to Island County and the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee for providing funding to bring this event to you and the community. \nFor more info: https://SculptureForest.org/dance.

SUMMARY:Wander/Wonder 2024\, a Sculptured Dance Happening
DESCRIPTION:Price Sculpture Forest third annual event where acclaimed choreographer Eva Stone presents ten new dance performances in collaboration with professional dancers. Each short performance occurs at a different sculpture throughout the sculpture park\, set to music. All performances are repeated multiple times throughout the two-hour period so you can wander from any “sculptural stage” to any other sculptural stage at any time\, and viewers can spread out along the trails throughout the two-hour event. After the event\, you can also mingle with the choreographer\, dancers\, and sculptors.
