SUMMARY:The Power of Belonging @ Langley Library
DESCRIPTION:The Power of Belonging: Why Connection Matters \nTuesday\, May 5th  ~  11 a.m. – 12 noon \nLangley Library\n104 Second Street \nIn a time when many people feel isolated\, overwhelmed\, or unseen\, this presentation explores a simple but powerful truth: human beings are wired for connection. \nWhen we feel genuinely seen and heard\, our nervous systems settle\, our resilience grows\, and we remember that we do not have to face life alone. This conversation invites participants to reflect on their own experiences of belonging and to consider how much of our modern distress may be rooted not in personal failure\, but in disconnection. \nDrawing on the work of Healing Circles Langley\, the presentation introduces a gentle\, community-based model of peer listening and quiet witnessing. Rather than fixing or advising\, this approach creates space for people to be met as they are. \nBen \n(360) 221-4383 \naskus@sno-isle.libanswers.com
