Did you know that dragonflies have excellent vision, but can’t hear, have six legs, but can’t walk, are fierce predators of other insects, but are harmless to humans? Learn more about these fascinating flying insects and how to identify and photograph them, as we welcome Dr. James Walker, “Dragonfly Whisperer.” Funded by the Friends of the Langley Library.

Professor James Walker is the author of “Common Dragonflies and Damselflies of the Pacific Coast: A Life Size Field Guide.”
