Callahan’s Firehouse

Callahan’s Firehouse is a Glass Studio and Art Gallery in beautiful downtown Langley providing a fine art shopping adventure, espresso, and glass blowing experience. Just about anyone can blow glass; children, bridesmaids, groomsmen, grandmothers, grandfathers, heck the whole family and even those business groups knee deep in team building can take a break and enjoy glass blowing.

HUB Youth Connection

3rd Street & Anthes Avenue, Langley, WA 98260

Open School Days: 2:30pm to 5:30pm
Early-release Days: 11:30am to 3:00pm

The HUB is an after-school drop-in program offering social and recreational activities for middle and high school youth in a supportive setting. Young people have access to games, art activities, workshops and adult mentors.  Students receive a hot meal each day.


Island County Historical Museum

Photographs, maps, pioneer diaries, oral accounts and historic items from the museum’s collection are just a few of the things that will educate visitors about Whidbey and take them from the early days of settlement to the present day.


Northwest Language Academy

Orca Network – Connecting whales and people in the Pacific Northwest. Projects include the Whale Sighting Network, Educational Programs, the Central Puget Sound Marine Mammal Stranding Network, the campaign to retire Lolita/Tokitae, the last survivor of the orcas captured in Penn Cove, and the Langley Whale Center. The Langley Whale Center is open Thursday – Sunday, 11 am – 5 pm. Come learn about the whales and marine mammals of the Salish Sea, check out books from our Marine Lending Library, watch films and talk to our volunteer docents. Check out our great gift shop before you leave!

The Machine Shop

The Machine Shop offers a classic collection of arcade and pinball machines. These retro machines provide entertainment for the whole family. Located right up Second Street with over 80 classic pinball and arcade games, featuring local artwork on the walls, neon lights, and live music monthly,  The Machine Shop is a welcome blast from the past.


WHIDBEY ART ESCAPE

Whidbey Art Escape is a Paint-Your-Own Pottery place for people of all ages to create art by painting pottery pieces.   So whether you’re looking for a fun place to spend the afternoon with the kids, or you’re an artist looking for a place to spend time honing your craft, Whidbey Art Escape offers a warm atmosphere, reasonable prices, and friendly guidance – however you art! It’s a great interactive activity for all.
