From our vintage coffee roaster, located in a beautiful forest on Whidbey Island, we produce sight-roasted gourmet coffee to ship fresh to you. We’re on an island and in the woods, away from the city so we can concentrate on bringing you the freshest gourmet coffee. Our cafe hideaway is a special place to enjoy fine coffees, art and music; owner Gary Smith might even sing you song!

A coffeehouse/bookstore in the heart of Langley.  In addition to a variety if used books for sale, we offer pastries and breakfast menu, as well as a lunch menu that includes homemade soups, salads, and sandwiches.  Ice cream is served inside or at our walk-up window off the patio.  The Commons also offers a job training program dedicated to helping youth become self-sufficient and, in many cases, fund their college education. The Common Room accommodates 30 and is available for booking group events.

Whidbey Island’s best kept secret lies nestled in Langley Village.  This little jewel of a shop has expanded from its humble beginnings selling its famously delicious handmade truffles to a sweet shop that offers such staples as espressos, lattes, Italian sodas, gelato served in cups or handmade waffle cones, toffee, fudge, brittle, seafoam, and a variety of pastries.

Choose your favorite sweet and enjoy it on our wrap around patio amidst the beautifully landscaped Langley Village garden.

Useless Bay Coffee Company is at the heart of the community. People old and new meet and enjoy our fresh roasted coffee and tasty food. Ideas and laughter fill the air along with the aromas coming from our La Marzocco espresso machine and Paninni grills. Breakfast served from7:30am to 11:00am; lunch from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm.
