Act II Books and Puppets

Act II Books and Puppets carries the full line of Folkmanis puppets that range in size from finger puppets to larger hand puppets. We offer unique gift ideas by pairing the puppets with children’s books. The books come in board book size for children under 4 years or soft cover and hard cover books for older children or adults to read to their kids.

Art Now provides art instruction to all levels. From casual Sip ‘n Paint events where participants can complete a painting in a couple of hours with a group, to more advanced 1-1 mentoring.

Callahan’s Firehouse is a Glass Studio and Art Gallery in beautiful downtown Langley providing a fine art shopping adventure, espresso, and glass blowing experience. Just about anyone can blow glass; children, bridesmaids, groomsmen, grandmothers, grandfathers, heck the whole family and even those business groups knee deep in team building can take a break and enjoy glass blowing.

Dan Rider creates unique contemporary sculpture. He has recently returned “back to the garden” with a series of outdoor modern cast concrete sculpture totems called Drods. He was influenced early in his career by the abstract sculpture works of Isamu Noguchi, Louise Nevelson, and later on by Stephen De Staebler. Dan’s clients have installed many of his contemporary cast stone Totems to mark their landscapes with a unique focal point. Signature recurring themes involve a layering of multi-media dimensional elements that might include cast glass, aluminum & copper, and reinforced concrete.

Hidden Wonders Photo Tours provides fun, sociable and educational digital photography tours and workshops, led by Kim Tinuviel, an award-winning professional artist/photographer/instructor on Whidbey Island, Washington and Lake Havasu, Arizona.

All digital photographers ages 12+ are welcome: beginners to advanced! You’ll learn professional tips and tricks with any digital camera, including smartphones. See backroads sights you would never find on your own and enjoy the opportunity to learn new skills based on your current level of experience.

Whidbey Island’s Greenbank Farm is an historic organic farm with scenic vistas, cafe, locally owned art galleries and shops. Walking trails abound. The Port of Coupeville was established in 1967, located on Whidbey Island in the Puget Sound. Its district includes an area from just North of the town of Coupeville to just North of Freeland. The two major sites of activity for the Port of Coupeville are the Coupeville Wharf and Marina and Greenbank Farm.
