Dan Rider Sculpture
Dan Rider creates unique contemporary sculpture. He has recently returned “back to the garden” with a series of outdoor modern cast concrete sculpture totems called Drods. He was influenced early in his career by the abstract sculpture works of Isamu Noguchi, Louise Nevelson, and later on by Stephen De Staebler. Dan’s clients have installed many of his contemporary cast stone Totems to mark their landscapes with a unique focal point. Signature recurring themes involve a layering of multi-media dimensional elements that might include cast glass, aluminum & copper, and reinforced concrete.
