Striking conifers, rhododendrons, and Japanese maples, intertwined with abundant flowering plants to delight the eye–and wake the senses. Each year, the garden tour boasts four or five of Whidbey Island’s finest gardens representing a variety of styles, sizes, and design concepts. The tour is highly regarded for the quality and diversity of the gardens it showcases.
No two gardens are the same. No two days are the same in one garden. ~Hugh Johnson
The tours attract many visitors and locals, alike. The one-day tour attracts a lot of people. That’s a lot of feet trampling through these marvelous creations. That is why the organizers take extra precautions to ensure no damage comes to the gardens or any other part of the owner’s property.
The number of tickets is limited to 1,000, so it is important to get your tickets as soon as possible! 2017 tickets can be purchased online at the WIGT website closer to the event date.
