Act II Books and Puppets carries the full line of Folkmanis puppets that range in size from finger puppets to larger hand puppets. We offer unique gift ideas by pairing the puppets with children’s books. The books come in board book size for children under 4 years or soft cover and hard cover books for older children or adults to read to their kids.
Brackenwood Gallery primarily represents artists who live on Whidbey Island or in the near environs. This community of artists, many of whom are known nation-wide, are expert practitioners of their medium. The fine art work exhibited at Brackenwood is beautiful and tasteful and often includes an element of surprise.
Callahan’s Firehouse is a Glass Studio and Art Gallery in beautiful downtown Langley providing a fine art shopping adventure, espresso, and glass blowing experience. Just about anyone can blow glass; children, bridesmaids, groomsmen, grandmothers, grandfathers, heck the whole family and even those business groups knee deep in team building can take a break and enjoy glass blowing.

Goosefoot/Bayview Cash Store
Goosefoot is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community development organization, whose mission is to help strengthen the local economy and promote community. Located in Bayview, Goosefoot has revitalized this neighborhood over the past ten years through its renovation of the historic Bayview Cash Store and ownership of the Goose Community Grocer. The Cash Store is home to two restaurants (Asian and Mexican), wine tasting room, taproom, gift shop, hair salon, fitness studio, bike shop, frame shop, and fine art printing shop.

Studio 106 is a working studio for three artists, Phyllis Ray, Faye Castle, and Barbara Barry. We all paint in oil currently. Phyllis makes paintings of scenes and buildings in Langley. Faye paints atmospheric landscapes. Barb has been primarily painting animals. We are open whenever an artist is working and during every First Saturday Art Walk. We all also show at Brackenwood Gallery.
Sweet Mona’s Chocolate Boutique
Always experimenting with new recipes and product ideas, this little jewel of a shop has expanded from its humble beginnings selling its famously delicious handmade truffles to a sweet shop that offers such staples as espressos, lattes, Italian sodas, gelato served in cups or handmade waffle cones, toffee, fudge, brittle, seafoam, and much more.
I custom design jewelry that is created to showcase and honor the beauty of individual gemstones. I also use antique found pieces to design into jewelry and have a passion for unusual combinations. My background includes a BA from Scripps College, an MFA from the University of Washington, and private study with Richard Kirsten.
